Common questions

Do I need an account?
Yes. Your tours, notes, and recordings are tied to your account so they follow you between devices. Sign in with an email and password or with Google.
Why does it ask for the microphone?
Recording a debrief is the whole point of the app. Press and hold the capture button after a showing, talk, and let go. If you decline the permission, tap “Type instead” — every other feature works with a typed debrief.
What happens when the house has no signal?
Record anyway. The audio is saved on your iPhone the moment you release the button, and it uploads on its own the next time you open a capture screen with a connection. A debrief you walked away from is offered for resume when you come back to that showing.
Where does my recording go, and who hears it?
It is backed up to our cloud storage under your account, then sent to a speech-to-text service (Deepgram or OpenAI) to be transcribed. The transcript, plus the addresses on that day’s tour and the buyer name you entered, is sent to Anthropic to be structured into notes. No person at 28 Digital Studio listens to recordings. The recording stays attached to the showing so you can play it back later.
The transcript or the notes are wrong.
Speech recognition in a car is imperfect, so nothing files until you confirm it. Edit the transcript and tap “Re-run on the Edited Transcript”, untick any note you don’t want filed, and adjust scores before tapping Confirm and File. If transcription fails entirely, the audio is still safe and you can type the debrief.
What do “explicit” and “inferred” mean on a note?
Explicit means the note repeats something that was actually said. Inferred means the app had to interpret it. Inferred scores are never filled in for you — they appear as a suggestion you tap to accept. Anything genuinely unclear is listed as an open question instead of being guessed.
Can my buyer see my notes?
No. Everything you file is private to your account. The “Buyer” tab in this release is a preview of a future shared-tour view built on sample data; nothing is shared with anyone yet.
How do I delete my account or my recordings?
There is no in-app delete yet. Email us from the address on your account and we will delete your account, every tour and note, and every recording within two business days, and confirm when it is done.
